High-Quality Automated Espresso for Demanding Operations
The Tango Solo XP automates grinding, dosing, tamping, brewing, recipe management, and cleaning while giving operators more extraction control than a basic bean-to-cup platform. It is designed for operations where consistency, speed, and staffing simplicity matter, but cup quality still needs to remain a priority.
Strong fit
- Hotels and corporate offices that need premium self-service drinks without staffing a traditional espresso bar.
- High-traffic cafeterias and foodservice programs that need fast, repeatable output from rotating staff.
- Operations prioritizing extraction quality that want more recipe control than a basic superautomatic provides.
- Programs with multiple coffees that can benefit from two or three high-precision grinders and hoppers.
Probably not the best fit
- You have a trained barista team. A traditional machine such as the UNIC Aura may offer more control at a lower cost.
- Your volume is modest. A smaller superautomatic or commercial brewer may be more economical.
- You need maximum throughput. The Tango Duo XP adds two independent brew units.
- You do not have a service plan. A premium superautomatic needs disciplined cleaning, water treatment, and qualified technical support.
Configure the Complete Superautomatic System
The Tango XP should be planned as a complete beverage station. Grinder count, milk handling, refrigeration, filtration, electrical service, recipes, cleaning, and technical support all affect the final result.
Advanced Automation Without Giving Up Espresso Quality
Patented Tango group
The full-metal brew group manages tamping, pre-infusion, brew-chamber control, and extraction with a separate ejection motor designed to reduce coffee jams.
83 mm flat burrs
High-precision grinders support uniform particle size, fast delivery, and consistent extraction across demanding service periods.
Recipe customization
Adjust chamber size, tamping, infusion timing, beverage size, and multi-shot recipes through the touchscreen interface.
Serviceable design
Accessible panels, modular internal blocks, removable washable parts, guided cleaning, and common fasteners simplify daily care and technical access.
Plan the Utilities, Milk System, and Cleaning Workflow First
Electrical
Confirm the exact supplied configuration. Current US documentation lists 208 to 240V single phase, 60 Hz, up to approximately 5,990 watts and 30 amps.
Water and drain
Provide treated cold water, an accessible shutoff, required inlet pressure, and a properly routed waste connection.
Milk system
Confirm whether the project needs two-step SteamAir or one-step pump-fed milk delivery with the optional 9-liter refrigerator.
Daily maintenance
Assign responsibility for guided cleaning, milk-system care, grinder and hopper filling, waste-drawer emptying, and routine inspection.
What You Need to Know
The Tango XP Solo is approximately 15.7 inches wide, 25.3 inches deep, and 31.9 inches high. Weight and power vary by grinder, milk, and electrical configuration, so the exact ordered SKU must be confirmed before site work.
Choose Based on Output, Staffing, and Control
The Solo XP is the premium single-group automatic path. Move to Duo XP for maximum throughput, down to Tango ST for a more accessible automatic, or to Aura when trained baristas and traditional control are the better fit.
UNIC Tango Duo XP
Choose Duo XP when two independent brew units and output up to 440 cups per hour are necessary.
See the Tango Duo XP →UNIC Tango Solo ST
Choose Solo ST when automated throughput matters more than the XP platform’s deeper extraction-control capabilities.
See the Tango Solo ST →UNIC Aura
Choose Aura when trained staff, manual milk preparation, portafilters, and a lower equipment cost are the better fit.
