A Flagship Platform for Teams That Will Use the Control

The Stella Epic is UNIC’s most advanced traditional machine. It makes sense when trained baristas need independent brew boilers, pressure and pre-infusion control, saved extraction profiles, and repeatable temperature management across demanding service.

Strong fit

  • Specialty cafés where espresso quality, recipe control, and consistency are central to the business.
  • Boutique hotels and premium hospitality that want a statement machine with real performance behind the design.
  • Experienced barista teams that will actively use profiling, pre-infusion, and independent temperature settings.
  • Mid-to-high-volume bars that need stable brewing and strong steam output at the same time.

Probably not the best fit

  • ×You need a simpler value machine. The UNIC Classic is more practical.
  • ×You want premium performance without deep profiling. Compare the UNIC Aura.
  • ×You have no trained barista. The Tango XP may be the better fit.
  • ×Your bar does not need advanced control. Paying for profiling features only makes sense if the team will use them.

Why buyers choose it

Advanced Control Without Sacrificing Bar Workflow

01

Independent coffee boilers

Each group uses its own 1.65-liter coffee boiler, allowing independent temperature control and stable performance across different coffees or recipes.

02

Pulse profiling

Programmable pressure and turbulence intervals give baristas deeper control over extraction and help reveal delicate coffee characteristics.

03

Thermalink power

Intelligent power management monitors demand and applies energy to the heating elements that need it, supporting faster recovery and efficient output.

04

Easylock and Steamglide

Hydraulically assisted groups and low-effort steam levers reduce strain and support a smoother high-volume bar workflow.

Common questions

Before You Buy

Is the Stella Epic a true multi-boiler machine?+
Yes. The two-group model uses an 8.9-liter steam boiler plus two independent 1.65-liter coffee boilers, one for each group.
What is pulse profiling?+
Pulse profiling allows the barista to control pressure and turbulence intervals during extraction. This creates more precise control over how the coffee is saturated and extracted.
How many recipes can be saved?+
The current Capital City configuration supports up to five saved extraction profiles per group.
What is Thermalink?+
Thermalink is UNIC’s intelligent power-management system. It monitors demand and selectively directs power to the steam and coffee-boiler heating elements as needed.
What electrical service does it require?+
The US two-group specification is 220V single phase, 60 Hz, approximately 6,500 watts, and 30 amps. Confirm the exact plug and receptacle before electrical work begins.
Is a three-group version available?+
Yes. The Stella Epic 3 adds a third 1.65-liter coffee boiler, increases the steam boiler to 14.3 liters, and expands the machine width to approximately 38.6 inches.
Is installation included?+
Installation availability and pricing depend on the project location, equipment package, site conditions, electrical work, plumbing, and technician travel. We review the installation path before the order is finalized.
Can I buy the machine without coffee?+
Yes. Machine-only purchases are available. We can also quote a complete package with grinder, filtration, freight planning, installation support, and opening coffee.
