Getting started right

Why compact doesn’t mean compromised

A tight counter doesn't have to mean a downgraded machine. Compact commercial platforms exist specifically for operators who need full-duty output without the footprint of a standard 2-group chassis.

These three paths cover the range we see most often for compact installs: a value-focused compact platform, a volumetric compact machine for consistency, and a turbo-steam compact option built for stronger milk output in a small frame.

We'll confirm which one fits your actual counter dimensions before you order anything.

  • Fit
Operators with limited counter depth or widthYou've measured the space and know a standard 2-group chassis won't fit.
  • Fit
Cafés that still need full 2-group outputYou need dual-group throughput, just not the footprint that usually comes with it.
  • Fit
Renovations and build-outs with a fixed layoutYour counter plan is locked and the machine has to work within it.
  • Ask
Wide open counter spaceIf space isn't a constraint, a standard 2-group machine may give you more headroom. Ask us.
Three proven paths

A practical shortlist for tight counters

Each of these delivers full commercial output in a compact footprint. Tell us your counter dimensions and we'll confirm which one fits.

Casadio Nettuno A2 Compact (2 Group)

Volumetric · Compact 2-Group

Nuova Simonelli Appia LIFE Volumetric Compact (2 Group)

Volumetric dosing keeps shots consistent shift after shift, in a compact chassis built for tight counters without sacrificing dual-group output.
Turbo Steam · Compact 2-Group

La Cimbali M26 Compact 2 Group with Turbo Steam

Turbo steam technology delivers faster milk texturing in a compact chassis, useful where space is limited but the drink menu isn’t.

Common questions

Before you buy

Which compact machine is right for my space?
It depends on your counter dimensions, expected volume, and whether milk output is a priority. The three machines on this page cover the range we see most often for compact installs. Tell us your details and we'll confirm.
Do you install machines?
We help coordinate installation requirements, including electrical, plumbing, filtration, and site readiness. For customers in our local service area, this includes hands-on installation support. We'll confirm exactly what's included for your location on your consultation call.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes. We have an in-house technician who services the machines we sell. That's part of why we're careful about which brands we carry and which machines we recommend, we need to be able to support what we sell.
Do I need a grinder too?
Yes, in almost every case. A machine is only as good as the grinder feeding it. We help pair the right grinder to your volume and menu, including separate regular and decaf setups when needed, as part of your recommendation.
Do you help buyers with tight counter space who have never bought commercial equipment before?
Yes, this is common. We'll help you choose the machine and grinder, confirm your counter dimensions work, plan for voltage and plumbing, and get you set up with coffee and service from day one.
Is financing available?
Financing may be available depending on the machine and buyer profile. We can discuss options after we understand the equipment fit.
Should I browse machines first or request a recommendation?
Either works. If you already have a model in mind, browse our full catalog. If you'd rather not guess, request a recommendation and we'll point you to the right fit based on your specific buildout, no pressure either way.
